Whisky & Alement gets a refurb

Our little local bar has undergone a number of upgrades over the years. What was once stripped back to just a room with a fridge has been transformed into a space where tens of thousands of whisky lovers from all over the world have enjoyed a dram.

But we’re always thinking about ways to improve, and after two weeks of tinkering and refurbishing, Whisky & Alement is now opened to the public again!

What’s changed? All told, the alterations were minor. We’ve replaced the surfaces, given the back bar a refresh, and we’ve also added more seats to the bar, which we know many of you will love.

 

Upstairs at Melbourne Whisky Room, we’ve also lined the cellar to offer you a tantalising glimpse of the bottlings that might one day be cracked for the bar or for one of our events.

We’re always trying to enhance our cosy space to give back to all the awesome folk who come in and make Whisky & Alement what it is. So thank you, and we’ll see you for a dram soon!
