The (Old) Pulteney distillery from the town of Wick is Scotlands second most northerly distillery on the mainland. The distillery uses worm tub condensers to produce and syrupy malt that carries good levels of malted barley character.
Nose: Yellow melons, cantelope and lemon meringue. Runny honey and lime zest.
Palate: Light and clean with flavours of shortbread and oat biscuits.
Finish: Herbal spices and citrus smoothies. Dustings of oak shavings.
