Good Beer Week might not be happening in 2020, but you can still enjoy the finest Boilermaker pairings at home with some mates!
Brooklyn Brewery “Black Chocolate Stout” Winter 2018 Release.
A once a year treat the Black Chocolate Stout has been a feature of Good Beer Week events at Whisky & Alement for 6 years in a row! Decended from the Russian Imperial Stouts of the 18th century, this stout has become a modern classic, heralded the world over. A blend of six malts produces its dark chocolate aroma flavour. There is nothing better to enjoy with rich desserts, fine cheeses and roaring fireplaces. (Unless of course you have the following whisky)
Hakushu 18 year old is a rare and highly awarded whisky from the foot of Mount Kaikomagatake. The viscosity of this malt makes for a seamless transition from the Black Chocolate Stout into a refreshing palate of Jasmine, mango and quince.
Whisky: Hakushu 18 year old single malt whisky 43% | 30ml
Beer: Brooklyn Brewery “Black Chocolate Stout” Winter 2018 10% | 355ml Bottle
