Mannochmore 13 year old by Chorlton 59% 700ml

Mannochmore distillery walks a fantastic line of producing light spirit but also quite characterful spirits too. The stills are without reflux bulbs and not particularly tall but the shell and tube condensers purify it in a way that creates a fruity and floral mature product.

Nose: Yellow peaches frying in butter. Fantail caramel and honey straws. Golden summer fields of grain.
Palate: Juicier than expected, thick and rich without being syrupy. Sweet orchard fruits and honey dew melon. Fantastic for a summer highball.
