Acorn is a small but well-known independent bottler based in Sakado City, Saitama. While its focus is bottling single cask whiskies under the Acorn Natural Malt brand for the Japanese market, its products are now sold more widely with distribution in Germany, The Netherlands, Australia and Taiwan.
A stunning 3 year old Caol Ila, proof that age doesn’t equal quality. Classic Caol Ila flavours of white sugar, wood smoke and toasty grain with a hint of vanilla. Matured in an ex-Bourbon barrel and was bottled at cask strength.
