A delicious dram…. don’t ask about the name. The contents is as follows: 2/3’rds of the blend is 14 year old sherry cask matured Bunnahabhain and the final 1/3rd is 5 year old Laphroaig. Peat and sherry!
Nose: All fresh and fruity on the nose, with a good whiff of peat but the sherry has done a great job of masking what’s to come.
Palate: The peat wave comes pouring in with a good dose of apricot, fanta and caramel jersey’s. A top drinker when you want the best of both worlds.
