Benrinnes 14 year old refill sherry butt by Chorlton 55% 700ml

Benrinnes distillery is one of our favourites at Whisky & Alement. The spirit type is thick and characterful enough that it compliments big sherry flavours well, but isn’t so heavy that it comes over meaty and salty.

Nose: Musk sticks and breakfast juice. Hand bag perfume and pink icing finger buns.
Palate: Juicy red fruits with a full bouquet of quality sherry cask. Baking spices and dried muscatels with plenty of stone fruits from the spirit. Almost a sherry bomb.
