This is a boilermaker pack designed for sharing given the rich, thick and syrupy character of the Porter. With massive dried fruit character, this beer spent a full year maturing in a Speyside whisky cask, so it takes a complex dram to sit alongside it. Benromach 15 year old is laden with flavours of fruitcake, darker flavours of cacao and just a decent hint of peat smoke to follow up a more than generous array of flavours.
Allow the Porter to warm up to around 8 to 10 degrees to appreciate all the rich fruit flavours.
