In 2016, the great, great Grandson of James Eadie, Rupert Norman uncovered the ledgers of his ascendent, discovering the recipe of the famous blend. With the help of a modern blender and referencing one of the few surviving bottles the blend was recreated. Today’s James Eadie brand is principally a bottler of small batch and single cask whiskies also featuring these cask treatments as set out by the founder such as sherry, madeira, and marsala among others.
