David Bennett, a resident of Chorlton, Manchester selects casks that are more orthodox than some of the newer Indie bottlers out there, preferring to stick with ex-bourbon cask maturation over sherry and wine casks. Chorlton whiskies are rarely “finished” and usually fully matured in the one cask, beginning to end. All Chorlton Whisky releases are bottled at natural strength from a single cask, with no chill-filtering or added colouring. No monkey business, basically.
